A 501(c)(3) nonprofit built around the needs teachers rarely say out loud.
The Teachers Secret exists to support educators with resources that reduce personal financial burdens — and to remind teachers that the community sees, values, and appreciates them.
Our Mission
To support educators with resources that reduce personal financial burdens.
Teachers routinely invest their own time, energy, and personal resources into their classrooms and students. Supplies come out of their own pockets. Extra support for a student often comes out of their own budget. Much of it goes unseen.
The Teachers Secret exists to help lighten that load.
Through community partnerships, charitable giving, and targeted assistance programs, we work to provide meaningful support to educators and their families — and to make sure they know the community stands behind them.

Our Vision
A sustainable network of support — all year long.
Our long-term vision is to build a sustainable network of community resources that helps educators access support throughout the year — not only when a crisis occurs.
As The Teachers Secret grows, we intend to expand our programs, partnerships, and resources available to educators and their families.
Why We Support Educators
Teachers give far beyond the classroom.
Many educators spend their own money purchasing classroom supplies, supporting students, and creating better learning environments.
The burden is real
Classroom supplies, student needs, and small necessities frequently come out of a teacher's own pocket — quietly and without reimbursement.
The impact reaches further
When a teacher is supported, the benefit extends to every student in the room, and to the families behind them.
Support should be dependable
We believe educators deserve help that is steady and practical — not something they have to ask for twice.
We believe supporting teachers strengthens classrooms, families, and communities.
Our Commitment
Responsible stewardship, from day one.
The Teachers Secret is building programs designed to directly support teachers and their classrooms in the Houston area. We are committed to operating transparently, directing resources toward real needs, and being accountable to the educators, donors, and partners who make this work possible.
